Our herd consists of several dairy goat breeds, including Saanen, Alphine, Nubian, Shami and various crosses and are breed onsite. We have selected bucks in our herd, and work on improving or genetics through selective breading with natural methods. This has allowed us to develop an amazing herd of gentle-tempered goats suitable for the local conditions that produce high quality milk.<\/p>\n

The Saanen is a Swiss breed of domestic goat. It takes its name from the Saanental in the Bernese Oberland, in the southern part of the Canton of Bern, in western Switzerland. It is a highly productive dairy goat and is distributed in more than eighty countries worldwide<\/p>\n
